Museum iCOON

iCOON Hoek van Holland is situated in a beautiful spot in the dunes, ‘wedged’ between the Nieuwe Waterweg and the North Sea. A small-scale country estate of high quality (in the making). Where it is nice to be even if you have nothing to do with art. Inside a museum art space for minimalist art & design. Outside a part of the Voorduin with beautiful flora and fauna and next year two outdoor works. With respect for the history of the area, Joram Raaijmakers designed a lookout tower based on the watchtowers from the Cold War: the UITzWAAI. And Krijn de Koning designed an above-ground tunnel system, based on the thickness of the bunker walls: the Duinkamer. Installation is planned for April 2025.
